Author Description

Author Penny Goring has persuaded chefs at 20 of Britain's top privately-owned hotels to donate their favourite seafood recipes to this illustrated book, which will benefit the RNLI. Alongside each mouth-watering recipes a tribute is paid to the lifeboat heroes of an RNLI station near to each Pride of Britain hotels featured. Penny and co-author James Donaldson have also written a series of funny and sometime poignant poems and limericks about the sea. Each poem is illustrated with whimsical watercolours by artist Georgie Paterson. Profits from Seafood Salad are being donated to the RNLI.
