In partnership with the Hall Foundation, the Ashmolean museum will celebrates Warhol's work with over 120 examples showcasing his innovative and experimental practice from 1962-86. Iconic works such as the 'Brille Soap' box and Mao prints will be on featured together with lesser known pieces such as his experimental black and white images and oxidization works from the 1970s. The catalogue includes stunning examples of his portraits of the rich and famous, from actors and artists to musicians an politics. This is the first time this important private collection of Warhol's work has been on public display in its entirety.
