How do everyday folks emotionally react to historic, world-shaping events?<br/>In this chapbook, ten brave voices from California’s Motherlode speak out about the 2024 United States Presidential election. Primarily a book of poetry, which is the language of the heart, we have also included two authors who submitted heart-felt prose. In the back of the paperback we designed two blank pages for each reader to contribute their own story, poem, or scrapbooked heart-felt response to this historical event.<br/>In that way, we hope this book will truly become a keepsake, a first-hand emotional response to history in the making. Afterall, history is about people who create lives within it.
