1929 Gwangju Student Movementb The Gwangju Student Movement in 1929 was the driving force behind the great stream of Korean modern and contemporary history. In order to clarify the process of gathering students competencies in the 1920s through the Gwangju Student Movement, the author described in detail the existence patterns, alliance leave, social awareness and theories of students before the Gwangju Student Movement. In addition, I tried to approach concrete facts by carefully examining the development of the nation, and also dealt with the spread to overseas. The reason is that the Gwangju Student Movement has formed a huge stream of national movement beyond the student movement by driving the national movement of foreign countries. It was a movement that made clear the purpose of national independence. On the other hand, the Gwangju Student Movement began with minor clashes between Korean and Japanese students, but developed into a national liberation movement and an independence movement. The significance of the Gwangju Student Movement in terms of movement history is that the movement grew by itself and formed a big flow of the national movement. In the end, students were the main driver of the three national movements during the Japanese colonial period. After liberation, students became the leaders of the April 19 Revolution and the democratization movement with pure passion and dedication, and they will continue to be the salt that cleanses our society.
