The Nieuport Airplanes Encyclpoedia (Part 1, 1910–1914) tells the story of one of the leading<br/>French pre-war aeronautical companies, founded by a brilliant engineer, Edouard Nieuport, who<br/>barely had time to see his creations crisscross the skies of Europe. Favoring aerodynamics which<br/>gave them speed, the various versions of the Nieuport monoplanes, which served in various air<br/>forces until 1917, foreshadowed the Nieuport biplanes which would impose themselves in the skies<br/>of Europe at war. The story is told with 330 photos and 38 color profiles in its 204 pages.
