This manual is meant to be used in a Service-Learning capacity. The college woodwind methods course partnering with a middle school beginning band class. The manual is also a great reference tool for the Middle School band director. Each instrument chapter will deal with HOW TO TEACH embouchure, air production, hand position, articulation, holding position, and assembly. Also, included are chapters dealing with recruitment, virtual-hybrid learning, and the instrument display. The manual concludes with a special chapter by 2020 Grammy Educator of the Year, Mickey Smith, Jr., Management Action Plan.
