Adams - A member of the music faculty at Texas Southern University, Adams teaches courses in music theory, composition and percussion. He has composed numerous musical compositions in a variety of idioms and is the author of several articles and reviews that deal with various topics related to contemporary percussion literature. He received his DMA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.<br/>Keith A. Aleo - A member of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra since 1989, Aleo is also a faculty member at the University of Miami, where he teaches percussion. Mr. Aleo was a contributing editor for the Encyclopedia of Percussion Instruments, released by Garland Publishing, Inc. and has recorded for the Harmonia Mundi, Spectrum, Word and CRI labels. <br/>Martin J. Elster - Mallet specialist and percussionist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and the Connecticut Opera, Elster is also artistic director of the Studio for Electronic Music in Symsbury, CT. He studied percussion with Teli Lesbines, Rich Lapore and Alexander Lepak and composition with Alan Hoffman, John De Baredinis and Arnold Franchetti. <br/>Richard K. LeVan - LeVan received degrees in percussion performance from the University of South Florida, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in ethnomusicology from the University of Pittsburgh. He has been a member of music faculties in Florida, Kentucky, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. As a percussionist, he has a wide variety of performance experience both in classical and popular music idioms.
