<p>Corruption is an insidious cancer that is secretly destroying our world! It robs people of their basic human rights, it steals money from the pockets of the poor, and it robs everyone of the peace of mind and security they need to enjoy life!</p><p>Corruption manifests itself through the actions of crooked politicians. These corrupt politicians believe they are above the law and that they can do whatever benefits them, no matter who it hurts or how corrupt and unlawful their actions are. Many have gotten away with it for so long that they think that nothing will ever change.</p><p>Let's start off by taking a look at a letter that reveals the real thoughts of a crooked politician. This letter is a hypothetical example of a completely honest letter addressed to the public: </p><p><br></p><p> A Corrupt Politician's Honest Letter</p><p><br></p><p>I am a corrupt politician. I have no interest in serving the public. I only care about myself and my own personal gain.</p><p>I have taken advantage of the public in many ways. I have used my position to enrich myself and my friends. I have awarded contracts to companies that I have a financial interest in. I have accepted bribes from special interest groups every time it was offered.</p><p>I have done all of this without any regard for the people I am supposed to represent. I have repeatedly lied to them, I have often cheated them, and I have betrayed their trust more times then I can keep track of.</p><p>I know that what I have done is wrong. But I don't care! I am only interested in myself and my own selfish needs!</p><p>If you are listening to this, I want you to know that I am not sorry. I am not going to change my ways.
