This monograph contains a brief review of image denoising techniques. In addition, this work studies how configuration of biorthogonal filters in block matching 3D filtering (BM3D) and color block matching 3D filtering (CBM3D) influences the result of image denoising. Furthermore, this work combines two well-known image denoising techniques i.e., robust bilateral filter (RBF) and total variation filter (TVF), to obtain a better result of image denoising compared to using an individual filter.
