The aim of this research is to analyze and estimate household waste flow based on the results of surveys and interviews used to gather information on municipal solid waste generation, composition patterns and their distinctive features. Based on the gathered data, the current municipal waste generation conditions were analyzed in Ulaanbaatar city and identified the recycling management difficulties.
