Aloha and welcome to Go FIGURE, a compilation of artwork by our hui of seven artists who, usually with 'ohana friends modeling, have gathered weekly for decades along our beloved Puna coast homeland here on Hawai'i, the beguiling "Big Island." Go FIGUREhonors beloved mentor, the late Arthur Johnsen, by concluding with a presentation of some of his creations.<br/><br/>A big purpose for us artists, models, and community 'ohana who participated in this project is to, for decades to come, be able to look back and appreciate the aloha art that Arthur, artists, models, studios, and nature all inspire. All of the several books I've published are themed on ascending in love, building connection, advancing intimacy, loving life and ourselves, respecting others, and taking care of home, local and global.Go FIGURE: We hope this helps inspire you to gather together to draw and paint.
