Adams is a retired US Army Chemical Corps Lieutenant Colonel with over 28 years of national and international experience in nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) protection, detection, and monitoring, US counterproliferation efforts, and homeland defense. Mr. Adams retired from the Army in 1995, and now works as a senior analyst with ANSER (Analytic Services), a private research institute in Arlington, Virginia. In this capacity, he provides staff support to the Director for Counterproliferation Programs within the Office of the Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense.
