“This Black Skin” gives you a heart-aching, mind-opening, soul-stirring glimpse into the heart, mind, and soul of black folk who have for years, endured the struggle of being pepper, in a salt shaker, spice in bland food, “black” in a “white world”. As you peruse these pages, You are invited to learn of their struggles and achievements; listen to their cries of joy and pain; and journey with them as they parade through the present, and magnificently march into the future. This tomb is for the high school, college, graduate, and post-graduate student, professor, instructor, and teacher; it’s for historians, historical interpreters, spoken word artists, public speakers/ presenters, and all individuals who have lived, are living, or are interested in African-American life, history and culture.
