This book is my very first C# application. I've used MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox in order to perform various operations on x-rays of thorax. The application for example is able to select the area of lungs using a few, selected level set method algorythms. The application has proven to be useful and very accurate, however with the increase of the input image resolution, the time needed to perform segmentation was increased dramatically.
