Author Description

Fanny Zindel, sixtyish widow and grandmother, travels to Yorkshire to visit her beloved granddaughter Susan at the Taddington Agricultural Boarding School, where a malicious classmate, Mary Louise Malbys, has engineered Susan's expulsion. When Mary Louise is murdered, Susan becomes the prime suspect. Fanny sets her own investigation into motion.
