A narrative account of the "C2D1" haunting that began in room C2D1 of Erie Hall, a dormitory on the campus of the State University of New York College at Geneseo, during the winter months of 1985. At the epicenter of the haunting is a 19-year old student athlete named Chris Di Cesare--a long-distance runner on the men's varsity cross country team who has his sights set on qualifying for the U.S. Olympic marathon team until his world is turned upside down by a terrifying series of paranormal encounters with a ghostly entity named "Tommy" which ultimately take a violent turn, testing his faith ... as well as his sanity. Witness to Di Cesare's ten-week ordeal and helping him to survive the haunting is J. Jeff Ungar, a friend and suitemate who rooms next door. Together, they brave attempts at investigating what is happening as Chris grows more and more desperate to find some way of bringing the haunting to an end. Photographs, voice recordings, scribbled notes and formal written journals that have survived all now serve to authenticate the events that unfolded around them. In this companion to the film "Please, talk with me," author and Ordained Spiritualist Minister Tim Shaw offers a fascinating inside look at this now legendary haunting--which, in addition to the film, has also been featured on Syfy's "School Spirits" television series in the episode entitled "Dorm Room Nightmare"--and recounts the many horrifying experiences as endured by the key witnesses themselves.
