Quentin, a teenager of 14, is forced to live with his father in Africa. He misses Quebec. He misses the familiar surroundings, his friends and the many parties. Hs is lonely until the day he learns, with his friend Seydon, of the existence of a mysterious treasure that has been buried in the desert for many years. The two boys decide to run away. They go down the Niger River all the way to the mythic city of Timbuktu. The adventure turns out to be more dangerous than what they expected. Fearless Touaregs are also looking for the moon diamond. Who will be the first to find the treasure? But, more importantly, who will unravel the riddle left by the chief of the "Caravan of 102 Moons"?
