Our story begins with Lady Marissa. As a do nothing rich Lady, she knows nothing of the outside world. One day, her knight in shiny armor becomes the man she fears the most. After surviving her husband's latest beating, she makes the difficult decision to run away with her daughter. During her flight, she meets a mysterious doctor hermit living in the forest. Will she be able to escape her abusive husband with the help of this hermit? Or will she return to the gilded prison she escaped from?
