This large softcover represents the first half (sections A-J) of Henry Campbell Black's famous 1891 "A Dictionary of Law, Containing Definitions of the Terms and Phrases of American and English Jurisprudence, Ancient and Modern," otherwise known as Black's Law Dictionary. Volume Two (sections K-Z) (ISBN 979-8423264246) is also available on Amazon, to complete the set. This dictionary has been constructed from high resolution scans of the 1891 hardcover. The text is sharp and clear. Printed in black and white. For the first time, the 1st edition of Black's Law Dictionary is available in softcover.
