Author Description

The first edition of "The 80386 Book" described the architecture and instruction set of the 80386 in detail. The second edition adds information about the new 80386SX and 80486 microprocessors. The book includes informative technical illustrations, complete instruction set documentation (including information about the 80387 numeric coprocessor), instructive sample programs and expert programming advice from author Ross Nelson, an early advisor to the 80386 development team.
