Much has been written about the problems minorities encounter in Western European and North American cities. This volume acknowledges the deep-rooted nature of inequalities and discrimination, but seeks ways of ameliorating and eradicating them from positive stories of minority involvement in regeneration. Drawing on case studies from a number of countries in North America and Western Europe, the book interrogates the nature of minority status and explores the role of networking in empowering minorities in urban regeneration.
