Three years after her sister disappeared in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Aubrey Wells hires rancher and wilderness guide Jensen McGraw to take her there. Jensen knows unnatural creatures live in the mountains, but he desperately needs the money and agrees to the trip. But when a snowstorm hits and members of their expedition start disappearing, it becomes clear that Aubrey and Jensen have stumbled into some otherworldly horror.
