<p>Things I used to worry about on a daily basis... how my hair looked... was my nail polish "in"... which party would my best friend be dragging me to this time? After a long day I would come home expecting to find my quirky sister's nose stuck in a book and my little brother running around, waiting to bug me about the latest video game that had released.</p><p>That life was simple. I had a best friend. I had two parents who loved me--grandparents who adored me.</p><p>But my life is no longer simple.</p><p>Things I worry about now... what time is sunset? Do I have plenty of pointy wood in my possession? Is this person trustworthy? Will I find a new enemy I have to fight around the next corner?</p><p>Ladies and Gentlemen, this is my life. Secrets. Blood. Wood. Death.</p><p><br></p><p>I live and breathe these things. I wish my life could be as simple as the people who don't have a clue. They go about their lives, and they have no idea what's really going on, right under their noses, right outside their doors. But there has to be someone chosen.</p><p>And that's me.
