Learning to be a teacher is a journey with many challenges along the way. This book is written for pre-service and beginning teachers. It draws from practitioners experiences in and perspectives of classroom teaching and managing the classroom environment in Singapore schools. It provides a brief picture of what classroom teaching encompasses, what effective classroom practices are and how to grow in the teaching profession.
