Author Description

War Eagles Air Museum, located at the Doña Ana County Airport in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, is dedicated to collecting, restoring and displaying historic aircraft and classic automobiles from the last 100 years, including a number of warbirds from World War II and Korea. This book pays special tribute to that collection and reminds us all of the significant role these airplanes, their pilots and support crews played in securing our freedom. The museum features various educational programs, exhibits and special events to help preserve America's heritage and promote pride in the country and its accomplishments. War Eagles is a non-profit organization supported by memberships, admission, and contributions. The book provides insight to the aircraft and automobiles both through photographs, vehicle specifications and text and serves as an extension of the museum's mission.
