Author Description

Cuba: Cast gender - mixed; number - 5 males, 14 females (total 19); size - large; ages - teenagers, adults; Target audience - youth; length - 1 act. Set in 1962 at an all-girls grammar school at the height of the Cuban missile Crisis. The story is narrated by Barbara, now grown up, and recalls how she and her friend Bernadette felt they were living on the brink of a nuclear war and were moved to form their own protest.
