The book of "Salt City Trivia II" grew out of Dick Case's continued love for the little facts that sometimes are lost in the broader sweep of history. Some of the historical tidbits originated when he was a columnist for the Syracuse Post-Standard and Herald-Journal newspapers, from 1979 to 2012, and were fleshed out in his new career as a researcher at the Onondaga Historical Association
