After their uncle is murdered, Grant and Lonnie Cunningham travel to the small town of Salt Creek, Arizona, to take over his farm. Althought most of the townspeople are friendly, Grant and Lonnie quickly fall foul of Vincent McGrath, the spoilt and wild son of a local rancer, whose father wants the farm and its water.
