This set of three books, plus linked worksheets, provide core and exemplar material for use by GCSE geography students across the complete ability range. The material will also be useful for Modular Humanities courses for the 14-16 age group and for selected 16-19 courses with an environmental basis. The book offer realistic depth and quantity of coverage of topics and areas common to the major GCSE syllabuses. The books are divided into short stand-alone units and each unit opens with a summary of the key ideas it contains. The coverage of the book is worldwide and at varying scales, and case studies are drawn from a wide range of economic, political and environmental settings and are based on a variety of original resources and sources. Ready-made student tasks are provided on photocopiable worksheets linked to each book. The tasks take account of both GCSE syllabuses and the National Curriculum recommendations in geography.
