This is one of a four-book series which aims to adopt a new approach to English grammar and language awareness. It aims to build awareness of grammar through discovery and discussion rather than the teaching of rules and covers the functions of words, the differences between spoken and written language, punctuation and sentence construction. Literacy skills are developed through discussion, games and "word play" and there are graded written exercises. A Teacher's Guide accompanies the series. Sue Palmer is co-author of "I See What You Mean", "Cliffhangers" and "Presenting Poetry".
