The Group of Seven artists shared a passion for Canada's wilderness. Inspired by European Impressionism, they created a distinctive visual language centered on the rugged Canadian landscape. Their paintings of forests, mountains, and waterways helped shape Canadian art and identity. This bilingual calendar (English/French) reproduces 32 images from Tom Thomson, Lawren S. Harris, Franklin Carmichael, J. E. H. MacDonald, and other celebrated artists. Wire-o bound, soft cover with flaps. Paper suitable for pen or pencil. All of Pomegranate's calendars are printed with soy-based inks on environmentally sourced paper.
