For the purpose of carrying the provisions of Physicians i ii certificates this chapter into effect, it is hereby made the duty of everyof deceased...... persons. physician who may practice medicine in this city, when a patient dies under his care, to make a certificate stating the name, age, sex color and nationality, together with the disease of which said person died; and if any physician shall neglect or refuse to make such certificate, he shall be subject, to a fine of not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars. Sec. 4. In the event of there having been no physician amrto attending the person sought to be interred, it shall be the catrao?18" duty of the family or friends of deceased to apply to the deatht &c. health officer who is required, upon satisfactory evidence, to furnish a certificate showing the eause of the death, together with name, age, sex, color and nationality.
