Swansea Boxers (1916-2010) is not intended to be a record book or a directory but is written and compiled to highlight the careers of professional boxers who inhabited the city and previously the Town of Swansea. The book does not portray a comprehensive history of professional boxing in Swansea but relies on Computer records, Newspaper archives and human memory for data, information, pictures and the personal recollections of boxers, trainers, managers, promoters, local fight fans and the families and friends of Swansea boxers, who boxed out of Swansea between the turn of the last century.
