Mosby's AssessTest helps users prepare for the nursing licensure exam by assessing their knowledge and abilities and giving them a probability prediction for passing the NCLEX-RN examination. The AssessTest is comprised of 265 questions that reflect the format and distribution of content according to the latest NCLEX-RN test plan. Users receive a personal analysis of their individual strengths and weaknesses in the areas of client needs, critical thinking, nursing process, and clinical area, with their performance ranked against that of a national norm group. The institutional profile is available for groups of 10 or more and summarizes performance in the same categories as the individual profile and assists instructors in evaluating group strengths and weaknesses. The group scores are compared to those of an RN norm group as well as a program-specific norm group. Schools of nursing also receive a comparison of their 2006 test scores to results from the 2005 and 2004 tests, enabling faculty to evaluate consistency of student performance and curriculum from year to year. Includes alternate test items to parallel the latest question formats in the NCLEX-RN examination. Follows the latest update to the National Council's NCLEX-RN test plan to give users the most current distribution of content they'll encounter on the board exam. Predicts the probability of passing the NCLEX-RN examination based on AssessTest performance to allow users to evaluate their readiness for the Boards. Provides a computerized analysis of test performance in the categories of client needs, nursing process, critical thinking, and clinical area to identify specific strengths and weaknesses. Offers an emailed PDF version of the institutional profile in addition to a hard copy, enabling schools of nursing to receive their institutional results in a shorter time period. Compares individual and group scores to BSN, ADN, and total RN nati
