This publication contains official country data on the production, consumption, prices and trade in the OECD electricity sector, and on heat production for OECD countries. It is divided into two parts giving: i) a detailed summary with comparable data for the electricity and heat sectors, as well as a summary of gross electricity and heat production by country in non-OECD countries; and ii) electricity data for each of the 30 OECD countries, and for eight OECD and IEA regional aggregates for selected years, including data on energy consumption, economic and population growth, electricity production and consumption, heat production and consumption, electricity imports and exports, sectoral energy and electricity consumption, prices for electricity and electricity input fuels.
