In Lakeside, we present a selection of sepia-toned images from photographer Nancie Battaglia. Each month features captions from great literary works that evoke the beauty of the natural world that Battaglia has captured in her images. Nancie has photographed five Winter Olympic Games, and has built a varied photo archive on sports, outdoor scenics, and mountain lifestyle. Her work has been featured in countless publications including Adirondack Life, Outside, Sports Illustrated, Frommer’s, Better Homes & Gardens, and The New York Times.
