
ABOUT THE BOOK:- This book is collection of reflections on some aspects of higher education, which have received little or no attention. The aim of the book is to induce encourage FREE thinking on different aspect of higher education. This exercise along with implementation should lead to much desired CHANGE; there is no dearth of experts to work out a blueprint for implementation. We have emphasized a critical aspect in higher education viz. emotional intelligence which is necessary for getting and advancing in a job and for happy personal as well as social life. Many aspects of indiscipline in universities have also been reflected upon.ABOUT THE AUTHOR:- Mahendra Sodha is a renowned physicist and educational administrator. He has many scientific honors to his credit and has been Vice Chancellor of three universities. "Padma Shri" was conferred on him by President of India in 2003. He is presently Visiting Professor at N.C.U Gurgaon and Lucknow University. Rashmi Soni is Head of the Department of Education in Sri Jai Narain P.G. College, Lucknow of University of Lucknow. A practicing counselor and trainer in Personality Development, she is a renowned motivational speaker. Dr. Soni has a number of published papers in National and International Journals and has five books to her credit.
