This law school casebook supplement is intended to increase the usefulness of the casebook with recent developments since the publication of the text in 1999. A new chapter, "Terrorism and Counterterrorism" reviews developments since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and the consequences for the international system, and the relationship among terrorism, counterterrorism and human rights. The Supplement also gives expanded coverage to the human rights responsibilities of corporations in a new chapter, "Transnational Corporations and Human Rights."
