The Intermediate Access 2003 courseware is designed for users who are familiar with database design, tables, forms and basic reports using Access 2003. The course begins with importing objects from Excel and exporting data from Access tables to Excel. The next section will explore relationships within databases including one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many. Advanced queries are covered including parameter queries, calculations in queries, and five different types of action queries. Advanced Form features such as combo boxes, calculated fields and subforms are introduced. A review of reports is included using the report wizard and building groups and totals and running sums. The course ends with a brief introduction to macros in Access using VBA to create an OpenQuery action and an Autoexec macro.
