Information on United States visitors to Ontario in this report was extracted from the micro data files of the International Travel Survey conducted on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism. The information pertains to: numbers & origin of visitors; length of stay; season of travel; mode of travel; size & composition of the travelling party; type of accommodation used; what visitors did in Ontario; tourism spending by activity group & origin; Ontario regions visited; opinions regarding trip; and characteristics of visitors whose primary trip purpose was to visit friends or relatives. Data for 2000 & 2001 are also presented for comparison. Includes glossary.
