Author Description

The Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), created in 1967, provides the ministers responsible for education in the provinces and territories with a mechanism for consultation in educational matters of mutual interest and concern, and facilitates cooperation among the provinces and territories in a broad range of activities at the elementary, secondary, and postsecondary levels. This biennial report gives information on the National Education Agenda, other interprovincial and federal-provincial activities and international activities. A financial overview is also included.
