Acting as Rama's messenger, Hanuman recounts his incredible, solo journey across the vast, one hundred yojana ocean (eight hundred miles) into the city of Rakshasas.</p><p> </p><p>Hanuman, the minister to Sugriva and son of the wind-god (Vayu), explains that he speaks Rama's glories to establish faith.
