When the near-omnipotent being known as Monarch wants to recruit an army for his forthcoming war on the multiverse, he assembles an incredible array of alternate heroes from various dimensions, pitting one version against another in gladiatorial combat. Different versions of Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman must fight to the death.
