On 25 February 1992, the Minister of Finance, the Hon. Don Mazankowski tabled his first budget in the House of Commons. This budget has been subject to the criticism that it is not sufficiently stimulative to help move the economy out of the current recession. This document discusses new fiscal initiates on the revenue side and the spending side. It looks at the fiscal position and the effects of the recession. It also includes tabular information on the revised fiscal projections.
