The Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), created in 1967, provides the ministers responsible for education in the provinces and territories with a mechanism for consultation in educational matters of mutual interest and concern, and facilitates cooperation among the provinces and territories in a broad range of activities at the elementary, secondary, and postsecondary levels. This document presents the Council's annual report for 1991-1992.
