Annual report of the Department, giving an overview of the year as well as the objectives, mandate and organization. Highlights in science, fisheries and habitat management, federal/provincial relations, inspection, international relations, small craft harbours, and corporate and regulatory matters are presented. Work done in fisheries conservation, health and safety, environmental protection, oceans policy, and responses to free trade are also included.
