Beware...amongst each of us are thirsty emotions seeking to be quenched by love and crime. Finishing out on top comes with a price, but at what price is anyone ever truly willing to pay? Life isn't always about fun and games, as they say...and for Walter Fitzgerald this was surely true, especially when it came to the cat and mouse challenges of marriage or the rustle and bustle of trying to make a buck in auctions where the money needed to buy something truly unneeded was all make believe. This weird and unusual tale is told from the insights of an aging married auctioneer who's found an old pinball machine which he can't auction off. For some reason nobody wants to buy this game which is ready to bring about a deadly confrontation against his bitter wife. For him, life was but a game before he'd found this machine. For him, marriage was but a game too. The way Walter Fitzgerald saw it - he'd already lost at both, until one day at the auction he encountered the pinball machine. From that point onward, nothing else for Walter was going to be seen the same again in regards to the games of life and love.
