Describes fisheries resource information and the management strategies and tactics forming the Dryden District plan whose purpose is to provide concise direction for fisheries management efforts to the year 2000. Information is included on current and projected use of fisheries resources by sport and commercial fisheries, and Aboriginal subsistence harvesting; management objectives for each fishery zone, fishery sector, and species; and strategies and tactics to address specific problems or issues such as environmental quality, conflicts between fishery sectors, and public awareness. A plan implementation schedule is also provided. Includes glossary.
