This report presents statistics pertaining to the activities of the AlbertaForest Service (AFS) during the 1984-85 fiscal year. Summary tables areprovided for comparative analysis and observations of trends. Industrialstatistics are provided where they are helpful in obtaining a provincialoverview. Note that the Forest Protection Branch operates according to thecalendar year rather than the April 1 to March 31 fiscal year. Sectionspertain to timber management, reforestation and reclamation, forest landuse, forest protection and forest reserach.
