Author Description

This anthology is organized on the basis of section 1983's statutory language and collects important articles dealing with section 1983. It is intended as a supplement to the casebooks used in many civil rights, federal courts, and constitutional torts courses. But it can also be used to supplement non-casebook materials developed personally by teachers of these courses.
